As part of its mission to strengthen the capabilities of Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) and bringing their businesses to the next level, Innovative Microfinance Limited (IML) last Wednesday held a free seminar on bookkeeping and financial literacy in Accra.
The training was organised under the auspices of Jayset Consulting at the YMCA premised in Adabrakra with over 200 participants.
According to the Head of Marketing and Business Development of IML, Mr Peter Kuntu-Blankson, the program aims to provide owners and workers of SME’s with the knowledge required to manage the accounting aspects of their small business and facilitate their expansion.
He said, “Our partnership aims to provide the participants with knowledge that will help them to take better decisions about their business so they can earn more money and reduce losses”.
Participants were engaged in a discussion after a lecture and practical session by Mr Kuntu-Blankson.
They gave positive feedback through their contributions, suggestions and encouragement indicating that the sketch was well understood.
Certificates of participation were awarded to participants by the CEO of Innovative Microfinance Ltd., Madam Sheila Azuntaba.
